Tupac is the man. He changed the world in 26 years and is referred to as an icon. The poet/rapper had a long, turbulent history leading him all the way to the very top. He had his troubles, as do most creative geniuses, but 20 years after his death we still bump his tunes and his messages still ring true. He is an example of how speaking the truth is so rare that it makes you a shock factor.

Just listen to what the man had to say.

Reality is wrong. Dreams are for real.
My mama always used to tell me: ‘If you can’t find somethin’ to live for, you best find somethin’ to die for.
For every dark night, there’s a brighter day.
During your life, never stop dreaming. No one can take away your dreams
The only thing that comes to a sleeping man is dreams.
Everybody’s at war with different things…I’m at war with my own heart sometimes.
You know it’s funny when it rains it pours They got money for wars, but can’t feed the poor.
I’d rather die like a man, than live like a coward.
Let the Lord judge the criminals.
All I’m trying to do is survive and make good out of the dirty, nasty, unbelievable lifestyle that they gave me.
How real is this man?
He was the chosen one.
